Missouri Pacific: Last Days Of The Eagle
Diverging Clear Productions is proud to release the next DVD in The Heritage Series, a new series featuring railroads as they were in the 1980s and 1990s. This DVD features the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
The Missouri Pacific became a part of the Union Pacific in late 1982. By the mid eighties, yellow power was making inroads with Union Pacific power alongside power lettered Missouri Pacific
in yellow paint. But even in the mid and late 80’s, consists of pure blue Missouri Pacific power could still be found.
In this program, we see pure MoPac; there are no yellow diesels here; only MoPac blue. Filmed from 1985 to 1989, this may have been U.P. territory, but the spirt of the Missouri Pacific was still alive.
Many of the scenes in this program were shot at Mount Vernon and Salem, Illinois. Other locations include Saint Louis and Kirkwood, Missouri.
This program is a must for any fan of the Missouri Pacific.
